NS-142 Mauvelous also derived from our attempts at earth tones formulated without using cadmium metals as colorant. We are happy to present this beautiful mauve color to our artists as a tool to explore creativity. As with many opaque colors this glass can suffer from boiling issues if pushed too fast or hot, so let the heat sink in for best working results.

Northstar Glassworks is a Tigard, Oregon based manufacturer of Borocolour® rod, frit, powder, tube, cane and Precision 104 soft glass for glass artists far and wide. Northstar Glass rods range between 15 to 20 inches in length. The diameter will vary between 5mm to 8mm.
