NS-19 Light Cobalt is the least saturated of the four shades of cobalt blue Northstar produces. Because it is the least intense it can be worked in any flame without altering the color. It is not for thin blown work, but it is the ideal overlay color. By encasing opaque colors or saturated striking colors with NS-19 Light Cobalt Blue numerous new effects can be created.
Northstar Glassworks is a Tigard, Oregon based manufacturer of Borocolour® rod, frit, powder, tube, cane and Precision 104 soft glass for glass artists far and wide. Northstar Glass rods range between 15 to 20 inches in length. The diameter will vary between 5mm to 8mm.
