NS-144 Grizzly is an opaque brown. This glass holds a dense earthen brown which works well in sculptural and blown applications. As a cadmium based color, the working characteristics will be similar to NS-65 Cherry or NS-64 Lava.
Northstar Glassworks is a Tigard, Oregon based manufacturer of Borocolour® rod, frit, powder, tube, cane and Precision 104 soft glass for glass artists far and wide. Northstar Glass rods range between 15 to 20 inches in length. The diameter will vary between 5mm to 8mm.
